This policy describes the cookies and analytics that the MCH Analysis platform and the MCH Analysis sites actually use, and how you can control them. It forms part of the MCH Analysis policy framework and supplements the Privacy & POPIA Policy.
This policy forms part of the MCH Analysis policy framework. Your use of the Service is governed by the MCH Analysis Subscriber Agreement and, for personal information, the Privacy and Cookie Notice; where this policy and either of them differ, the Subscriber Agreement or the Notice prevails.

Strictly necessary and session cookies
When you are signed in to the MCH Analysis platform, the platform uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies:
- an authentication session cookie that keeps you signed in to your account
- an anonymous identifier used to apply rate limits and to support the newsletter sign-up capture
- a short-lived access-grant cookie, scoped to the data path, that permits download of the premium data files you are entitled to
These cookies are required for the signed-in features of the platform to work. They are not used for marketing.
Analytics
The MCH sites use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate site traffic. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless: it sets no cookie and does not identify individuals.
Marketing cookies
MCH does not use marketing cookies.
Consent and browser-level control
No cookie consent banner is deployed on the MCH sites, because the only cookies set are strictly necessary and the analytics in use is cookieless.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view the cookies stored for a site, to block or delete them, and to be warned before a cookie is set. If you block or delete the strictly necessary cookies you will be signed out, and the signed-in features of the MCH Analysis platform, including premium data downloads, will not work until you sign in again.
